Why you should use this tool in your classroom This tool helps educators focus on domain 2 of Charlotte Danielson's framework. More specifically, Domain 2C (managing classroom procedures) and 2D (managing student behavior). Bloomz manages student behavior by letting them know what they are doing well and what they need to focus on improving. The track records function is especially useful when you need to sit down with a student and discuss their behavior; it allows them to see exactly what they were doing wrong and when they were doing it. This use of Bloomz also reinforces managing classroom procedures. You can add behaviors that pertain to your specific procedures into the tracker to give students the incentive to follow the guidelines. This can help your class run as smoothly as possible. This tool can help you effectively incorporate the ISTE Standards for students and 4 C's into your classroom. On Bloomz you can organize your students into teams to promote collaboration and communication. If students work well together and reach a certain point value, you can reward them with positive reinforcement (Ed Psych). Conclusion
Bloomz can have a positive effect on your classroom, in the areas of managing student behaviors and procedures. This tool can promote healthy competition and create a fun environment for learning.
